Perm then color your hair. You should wait at least 1 week between services.

I had been going to a number of salons over the course of 6 months trying to attain the perfect hair color in preparation for my wedding. I spent a fortune trying a few very well known salons in Boston and each time I went I became more and more discouraged. I gave this one salon a final try and it was a total disaster! With only a month to go before my wedding, I decided to go to Tintelations in Brookline. Sure enough, Ann resurected my hair and literally SAVED THE DAY!!! She explained to me what all the people I had been going to were trying to do (which was technically correct) and also why it was not working. She is a hair color genius!!! I was skipping out of the salon and have her to thank for helping make me feel like a princess on my wedding day!!! Everyone at the salon is so nice, calm and low-key. They simply know what they're doing and truly care about making you feel good when you look in the mirror. It's a hidden gem as far as I'm concerned.

Hi, I have a question about hair color.
I am naturally and medium brown with reddish highlights, but I changed my color to blonde,
it became that way with all the highlighting. I've had it this way for years.
I was thinking of trying an auburn or medium brown with highlights, but by skin has
some red on the chin and around the nose area, broken capularies. I do not know if anything in the red family will make the red more pronounced. I have Gray Green Eyes. and a little
longer than shoulder length hair.
or do you have a better color choice? My skin I believe is warm toned. (light but not too
light.)

I was in the ER of a large Boston Hospital, with an elderly parent one day. In the middle of explaining his concerns re: my parent; the doctor asked, "Is that your natural haircolor." Then went on to say, "Even if it's not; it's really gorgeous."
That doctor is probably director of a large prestigious hospital by now...and well deserved.
Tintelations is a wonderful salon. The people are all so much fun and interesting. It's small and intimate...and Anne is a true artist. She can do whatever she wants to do to my hair. I always love it. Tom is fabulous. His blow-outs are the best. Charlene and Amy are treasures.
I've been going to Tintelations since I started coloring my hair..in the Dark Ages.
We all share one very big secret at Tintelations:
our natural haircolor...before... and after!
